Udyam/MSME registration, also known as Udyam registration, is a government initiative by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to register and classify Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India

Fully Online and Paperless: The entire registration process is conducted online, eliminating the need for physical documents or visits to government offices. 
No Registration Fees: The Udyam registration process is free of charge. 
Digital Certificate: Upon successful registration, an e-certificate, known as the "Udyam Registration Certificate," is issued, containing a dynamic QR code for easy access to enterprise details. 
Unique Registration Number: Registered MSMEs receive a unique 12-digit identification number. 
Single Registration: An enterprise can only have one Udyam registration, covering all its activities.
